Information

Improve heat retention

One of the main benefits of double glazing is improved heat retention. A key function of a window and door is to keep the heat in and the cold out. All double glazing units have an insulating layer of air trapped between the two panes of glass and this insulating layer helps your home retain up to 60% more heat than a traditional single glazed window.

Lower energy bills

With double glazing, your home will retain heat and there won't be a constant need to replace it. Your bills will be reduced and there will be no need to keep the heating on as your home retains so much more heat. The savings you make on your utility bills over the first few years will often equal the price you pay for your double glazing.

Adding value

It is easy to see that professionally fitted double glazing looks better in a property than tired old traditional window frames and single glazed windows. They make the house look more appealing and also add value to your property as it will score better energy efficient marks, necessary now in selling houses, with double glazing in place.
